Who we be? BYU!

So this fall we were able to attend a BYU football game, we didn't have tickets...but we found some on the streets! haha yes, we did this. We got some good prices tickets from some really nice Florida Seminoles Fans. Due to buying tickets from them, we sat right in the middle of theses FL Fans! It was quite interesting, especially since we were wearing blue and we were surrounded by red. But, some other BYU fans were close by and probably felt the same way we did, awkward. Cheering for BYU pretty much by 6 people, can be scary when your surrounded by red, but, We did IT! My little brother Ryan, came down from Salt Lake and was able to enjoy the fun also! ra ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra ra, goooooo Cougars!!!ME and my little Brother!

Family in town

So a couple of months ago my family was in town. My mom and sister and me went to Temple square to look at everything and Brad swore into the Army this day. It was great having the family in town, and to see my Brad be swore in. I am sad he will be leaving me on March 2nd 2010, for six months! But, I know it's for the best.At Temple Square with my sister Dessie and my mom!We also went white ater rafting when they were here visiting! So much Fun!

How we met!

Oh long story how Mr.Cox and I met.

My Aunt (sister-in-law) Tammy married Scott (Brad's brother), when these two tied the knot I got to meet all of Brad's family except Brad, he was still on a mission. Brad's dad was on a mission to find Mr.Cox a wife. So in Feb. 2008 Brad's dad (Randy) gave me his phone number.

We began talking by me first texting Brad a message that said "hey this is Chassie Anderson, I have heard a lot about you," he then texted me back with pretty much the same message. We texted for a little bit that Monday night. Then the next day came...and I texted him again...maybe it was him? We started talking lots and lots, and let's face it, he wasn't to great at texting yet, considering he had't been off his mission to long yet. So I told him to call me...he called me!.but I accidently left the room and missed his call, so I called him back. Everyday after that for a month we talked everyday and all night for HOURS!

He decided to fly out and meet me, we were both SO nervous, yet, excited. The thursday night he was flying in I went to the temple with my mom and grandma, and after that we were going to go pick him up from the airport, but unfortunately his flight got cancelled in good ol'e Chicago, so guess what, I didn't get to see him that night. So the next day I was waiting for a text from him that says "flight leaving come pick me up," but I was worried I wouldnt get this text because his phone was pretty much dead and I knew this, (he was placed in a hotel that night and only went to talk to me on the hotel phone for 3 hours). So I finally got that text that friday morning and my mom, my little sisters, and me were on our way back up to Nashville to the aiport! It was pouring down rain the whole way, so of course, mom had the windshield wipers on, but as we were drviving to nashville on the freeway, the windshield wipers FLEW OFF! Yes...believe it. So we had to drive,(Could not see) and get to an autobody shop, and I knew I was going to be so late picking up Brad. So we went to this place and they were super nice, they fixed the windshield wipers without ANY CHARGE! So finally we are almost to the airport and I call Brad. I said where are you?..etc etc. So he continues to say "I am sitting on my suitcase on the curbside," so we keep talking then I see him and all nerves come to me and I just close my phone...and see him sitting on his suitcase in a blue shirt. We pull up and I get out and automatically hug him...and he says "You hung up on me!" haha. Which I did, then he said "It's so good to see you, finally!" So we head on home back to manchester and have a fabulous weekend together the connection was just as good as it was on the phone--maybe better!

We went on our first date and it was great! (I beat Brad in bowling :)! )

He flew back to BYU and we continued to talk for another month--long distance, and he than again flew back to see me and he proposed!
IT was on a Saturday around 5:45 a.m. I get a picture text of a ring box--the message says "follow the m&m's" So I get up and follow the m&m's down to where Brad was sleeping at one time, and there is a ring box, and peanut m&m's (great candy) and a sign that says. EAT ME> OPEN ME> So I open the box and there is a note that says "Goodmorning beautiful, go and get ready then meet me at Rutledge falls around (some time?, don't remember) So I hurry and get ready, let me remind you this is 6 a.m. in the morning, and I get to Rutledge falls (pretty waterfall) and he is stadning there, I get out of my car, and he blind fold me, puts me back in the car in the passenger seat and starts driving. and we keep driving. Finally he gets me out of the car and we are walking, and walking. He finally takes my blind fold off and we are standing on a bridge, on a lake,at sunrise, and he kneels down and proposes to me. It was a cloudy day but the there wa a perfect break in the cluds for the sun and two little birds flew by right when this happened. It was somewhat a dream feeling, he then had breakfast for us:). Brad was mad though because one thing didn't go right..he forgot the flowers! But I was okay with this--everything was perfect, even though there weren't flowers.

So 3.5 months later I became Mrs. Chassie Cox.
July 26, 2008 is our anniversary-we can't believe a year and some months has already gone by, but we are to happy!

Let's try something new...

So lately I have been wanting to start a blog for me and Brad. So here we are today I decided to make the leap and start a blog. We are excited so start this and hopefully more of our family members and friends will want to keep up with us and see what we are doing in our lives! Im excited about all this, but I have to figure out everything and how to do all this :s! I'm sure I will figure it out sooner or later.
