4 month check-up!

Today was Knowley's 4 month check-up! (I dread these check-ups!) I hate that she has to get shots when she goes, but I love to see how much she has progressed since the last visit. As of today Knowley is 14.6 lbs (70% tile) and 27 in in height (100% tile)! In the last 2 months she has gained three pounds and grown three inches! Yes, We have a tall one! So far she has done okay, but this afternoon the poor girl was throwing up over and over....stupid shots! Oh well, hopefully at her 6 month appointment she will not have all the throwing up.

I can't believe how much she is grown, she really is growing so fast. Tonight we are going to try rice cereal for the first time! We will see how this goes ;)

I just love this song...today I am grateful for my wonderful husband (not that I am everyday) and all the hard work he puts into each and everyday. Between school, work, ROTC, being a husband, and a father, he is really busy and I truly appreciate what he does for me and Knowley! We, I, love you babe!

Halloween 2011!

Halloween was lots of fun! Me and Knowley went to a work Halloween party, and then that evening when Brad got home from school we went to our ward Trunk-Or-Treat, and then we went to the annual Hemingway's Party! We passed out candy at the trunk or treat, and played games and had great food at the Hemingways!

Knowley was a butterfly, but later on became a ladybug because she blew the diaper and it came up the back :)

Can't wait for next year! I love Halloween!

She laughs!

Knowley laughs! This is the first of many giggles to come..but Brad and I just love it when we hear it. She has only really laughed 3 times so far....

Nashville Zoo!

While Knowley and I were in Tennessee we went to the Nashville Zoo! We got to see lots of animals (in which Knowl won't remember) but, we had a great time with my family! Its been years since I went to the zoo, so it was fun to see all the exotic animals!

Here are the elephants! They are so big!

The pretty Flamingos! So cool to see a ton of them together!

Meerkats! These animals are the coolest ever! They love attention and just posed for all the cameras taking pictures! They are way cute!

Can't forget the Monkeys! You know you see monkeys on TV but in person they are so extravagant. They fall from the trees, limb to limb like its nothing! So awesome.

Here are some birds that are so vibrant and blue!

Hopefully next time we go to the Zoo Knowley will enjoy it as much as I did! :)

Here is a picture of Knowley first engaging with a toy! She actually held onto it and of course it went straight to the mouth to be chewed on! It was so cool to see her playing with it! She truly is growing to fast. I love these little milestones she has been going through lately, so fun to watch her grow up! (but she can stay little awhile longer....!)
