Scrapbooking...??

On October 22 I went to my first scrap booking event in Idaho with my mother-in-law, and sister-in-law's. You needed to bring your own stuff (in which I did not have) but I did make some really cute cards and it was good to just spend time with the girls in the family. Maybe next year I can go again....and maybe have some scrapbooking stuff to participate more!

Ice Cream :)

So one of my favorite things to do is eat ice cream (okay not ever since this pregnancy though) I love ice cream. Sub Zero ice cream is one of my favorites. Brad and I went one night, and it was so delicious and fun. This was right before I found out I was pregnant, and it was the last time I ate ice cream :) Here are some pics from that night.

Its about time.. I know!

Okay ALL. My goal is to update this blog weekly, telling about what is going on with my life and of course pregnancy. I think it will be a fun way to look back and see how I felt and the changes my body went through. I am really excited about this and of course I hope to make this a great habit so when the baby comes I can update his/her life along with ours.

So lets see how this goes!

Whats been going on lately...

So an update on our lives!

I am currently still working at GOALØ as a junior designer, and I love it. My job definitely keeps me busy and keeps me on my toes, but that is good since Brad is away. I try to stay busy by hanging out with friends and trying new things, such as reading. I am usually not a big reader, and I am still not, but I am reading a book, which is not often for me. I am also just keeping up with our cute duplex I (we) live in, and have made some cute decorations for it. All in all I am doing good.

Brad is still gone away at his training for the Army. He is doing really good, and good news, we SKYPE now...so we can actually see each other while we talk. I am so thankful for wonderful technology. Seeing each other helps a lot. Brad said he is very hot and that he is tired of running..but you can't blame him, he does it all the time. Brad has become friends with some good guys and he seems to be enjoying himself where he is, minus me not being there of course, and his lack of sleep sometimes is very annoying to him. He is happy all in all though.

Brad gets tto come home JULY 4th weekend and we are super excited of course. Always look forward to time together! Every minute together is so precious:) His estimated graduation date is September 30th, than he will be with me all the time. Definitely looking forward to living with my husband again.

Pretty much that sums up what is going on around here. If I dont get on here again before July 4th I will say it now

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! Bless all the soldiers fighting for our country and the ones serving our country!

Where to begin.

Life....oh life. It takes us to where we never thought that we would go, but somehow it always turns out good, or even better.
Each day I wake up, take a deep breath, and think of my sweet sweet husband. I than proceed to do the usual routine, shower, makeup, get dressed, and go to work. I try to feel happy everyday but I understand this is a hard thing to do, especially with me being alone all the time...no family, just me and the mountains, well it at least feels that way sometimes. But I know Brad is where he is supposed to be and me where I am supposed to be. This long journey of 7 month training being apart is no fun at all, but its nothing I want people to feel sorry for me about either. I am so happy with the decision Brad and I made for him joining the military...This whole situation has brought us to an amazing couple, that will continue to get better and better.

Its funny. I am so different than the person Brad married 2 years ago, but in a good way. I have been faced with many challenges but I believe everything happens for a reason, and those challenges have made me be the person I am today, a better person, friend, sister, and especially a better wife.

Brad...oh my Brad. You make me a better person, and make me want to be a better person. You have showed me patience, and you have always been by my side, through the thick and thin, and I can't say how many times over and over again THANK YOU! I know we are where we are today because of heavenly father above, we are so blessed. I am so blessed to have you.

Why yes, we are sad being apart, but these months will go fast...and we will be together again. But, for now...we do what we have known to do from the beginning...fall or be in love over the phone. Thank goodness for cell phones :)

We can do this babe! We can.

All in all, life may be full of surprises and changes may happen, but I know one thing, no matter what happens, as long as my husband is by my side, I will get through anything.

As time goes by....

It is what it is....

Tomorrow I will be officially graduating (I have been done with school since April though) and will receive my Associate Science Degree Graphic Design. It's funny...I never really saw myself as a graphic designer, and here I am today graduating and working as one. Life is for sure full of surprises, if I looked back in time, I would not have seen myself where I am today.

The best surprise of all was marrying Brad and than of course graduating college (not that I didn't see myself graduating before) I just had no clue what I wanted to be or do with my life. Brad and I are such awesome partners or best friends. We work together really well, and have more love than anyone can imagine.

You know, when we got married Brad and I were in love, but the love we have now is so different than the love we had before. It's on a whole different level, its amazing. I love how love can get stronger and stronger, which reminds me of that song "...and I thought I loved you than". That song truly has much significance.

Brad is now in AIT and seems to be enjoying it. He loves doing PT (physical training) and getting his body looking good ... he is funny. He is also excited about the classes he will be going through and prays that he can pass this 35 M course, supposedly only 160 out of 270 guys will graduate from this course. I know Brad can and will pass and graduate on September 30th. Ahh...september please come faster :) It's not that I want to wish my life away..I love my life..but I wish my husband could be in it more. But he will be soon enough, I just keep reminding myself, I will have him for forever..forever..forever...this is nothing compared to forever.

It makes me happy being able to hear from him everynight to say I love you... I look forward every single day to that phone to ring with his name on it. It makes me so excited :) Even if we don't get to talk for long...its well worth the wait.

I just want my husband, my hero, my best friend to know I love him so very much and so happy to be his wife. See you soon love...

Life is full of changes and adventures but I am so happy to go through these adventures and ups and downs with the support of family and Brad by my side...

Brad Basic Training Graduation

Well, he did it! My husband is now officially a soldier of the U.S. Army! I am so proud of him...through the last 10.5 weeks we have only written letters to each other, and the weekly Sunday phone call is the only time I heard his voice. Sometimes we talked for 5 min...sometimes 2 hours. More so the average was 30 min. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, to be all alone in Utah without him.

While he was away, I have been working and moved to a new apartment, bought furniture, and did so much more on my own. I learned a lot through this exper
ience, as Brad has also. He is now a man. He is different but a good different, I love him so much and I love him more than I did when he left...it is true...distance makes the heart grow fonder...Wow, I look back and it seems that time went by pretty fast, but at the same time each and everyday felt like a life time.

My husband means the world to me and seeing him graduate and seeing the confidence he now has and the man he has become has made me one of the proudest wife you can have. I love him so much and he is the best of the best, I am so glad I married hi
m about almost 2 years ago. We were only together for 10 hours and now he is on a bus...heading to the next training for 19 more weeks. That 10 hours was the best 10 hours of my life, you may say, out of your whole life? That was the best? and I will tell you now and over and over again, yes! Our love for each other just continues to grow stronger and stronger, and it is the best feeling in the world.

I appreciate my husband so much, for his courage, and his strength to do what many others have not yet attempted or will not attempt to do. He has made me a better person, and I feel that him and I together we can conquer anything. Nothing will ever tear us apart or bring us down. We will be together forever, and that is the best feeling anyone could ever have.

Thank You Brad for being you. I am so proud of you.

may 13th, 2010 is a day we will never forget for many reasons. hooah!

Lots of Beginnings and Endings.

Well, tomorrow is the day..the last day of school for me! After tomorrow I will be an official graphic designer! I can't believe it...I thought it would never end...and here it is right before me, and yet, I still feel as if it is not going to end. (meaning I have a project that is due tomorrow nad haven't finished it yet). But hey tomorrow is the last day!

Brad has been gone for 6 weeks! that is going by so slow...but yet, I guess fast too. Just a little over 4 weeks till I get to see him graduate from Basic Training. Than he will go on for 19 more weeks of training in Arizona...19 weeks..thats a lot longer than 10 weeks..I am barely making it now with 10 weeks. Let's just hope we will be able to communicate more and see each other more often in AIT...having FAITH this will happen!

Well not much new here....just working for GoalØ full time and finishing up school, moving aparmtents, and looking forward to seeing my hubby again :)
